I lost my brother, my dog, and my boyfriend in the span of a few years. Grief cracked me open in ways I never expected. I tried to outrun it with more structure, more workouts, more control—but no matter how hard I pushed, I still felt empty.
That’s when I realized: what I thought was strength was actually survival mode.
So, I did the scariest thing—I let go. I traded extreme workouts for movement that felt good, swapped restriction for nourishment, and learned that balance isn’t about doing more—it’s about resetting in a way that actually supports you.
